Once a high-security military zone, the site’s story began in 1947 with the construction of a rocket base.
Throughout the second half of the 20th century, it served as a strategic defense facility before being decommissioned in 1999.
By 2003, the land was fully cleared and left untouched — sealed off, silent, and forgotten.

Now, it stands as one of the last undeveloped coastal sites in Europe.
